The Adelaide University Volleyball Club competes at many levels of competition, in both Indoor and Beach Volleyball. If you're interested in more than just social trainings, we'd be happy to help you find a level of competition which suits you.
In order to play for the AUVC you will first need to be a financial member of the club. See here if you would like to purchase a membership.
SA State League
SA State League is the premier indoor volleyball competition in South Australia. Season begins in April and concludes in September.
Trainings for the AUVC State League teams are Monday-Thursday nights at Christian Brothers College Gymnasium. Please contact us for times as different teams train at different times on these nights.
Most State League matches are held each Saturday at the Mt Lofty Community Sports Centre, approximately 25 minutes from the CBD by car. Games are played between 9am and 5pm (exactly when you play will depend on your division), and you will need to be at the venue half an hour before your game warm-up is scheduled to start.

University Games (Unigames) is the 'big one' for the AUVC. There are two tournaments each year: Southern University Games and Australian University Games.
Southern University Games (SUGs) involves universities from Victoria and South Australia, and acts as a qualification tournament for Australian University Games. In 2015, SUGs will be held in Adelaide for the first time in many years.
Australian University Games (AUGs) is the premier tournament for universities in Australia. In 2015, AUGs will be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Participation in any Unigames tournament is restricted to students of the University of Adelaide (i.e. you must be enrolled at the University of Adelaide.
The AUVC has won numerous gold, silver and bronze medals at both levels of Unigames, and our members have also been awarded the coveted Green and Gold medal on various occasions.
The Annual Seaside Volleyball Tournament in Warrnambool, Victoria, is an institution in Australian volleyball. The tournament attracts a large number of teams from SA and Victoria each year.
If you're interested in playing volleyball matches, but SA State League and Unigames don't appeal to you, we can also help you find one of many social volleyball competitions which are held around the city.
You can either form your own team, or let us help you form one from other interested members. If you are interested, talk to one of our coaches at our social trainings.
